Big Strapping Coat

The designs I've been showing that are fantasy-related are usually part of this ongoing unnamed fantasy project that's been simmering slowly in mental gumbo for years now... I keep coming up with a lot of elements I want to write about, but the actual STORY is still coming to me. I have a lot of fun just designing anyhow, and thinking of reasons to wedge this idea or that idea into some sort of coherent universe.

This girl appears again and again, but I'm still not sure who she is... it still needs time to cook.

Like the coat? The straps on the arms actually serve a purpose by allowing you to open the sleeves up and free the arms from the heavy fabric. I think it looks pretty cool, but the buckles need to be replaced with snaps for a more practical, believeable design.
