Another thumbnail piece from the DS, using the R4 homebrew painting program DS Colors!. Messing about with blue, and still puzzling out the settings and tools. I like that I'm forced to use very basic tools to work out the details or undo mistakes (the program has no Undo, though I did figure out a trick to get you back in the History... play back your strokes and stop the playback at the point you want to return to, exit out of the playback and you have the piece set at the earlier state).
I don't reckon I'll stop playing with this soon. I got another piece that's a sort of companion to this one, all warm colors instead of cold, but still in keeping with the theme (such as it is). Needs a little work, though. Nintendo DS, about 30 minutes stolen between saves and loads and eating dinner. It's good to practice. I expect I'll start dropping these in Scraps before long, 'cause technically they are Scrap-type pieces. |

You have to get a cartridge that lets you use homebrew games. I have the same thing that Inkthinker does, an R4. I got mine off Ebay for about $40. The MiniSD card, which you buy separately, cost me about $40 as well at best buy.
for help setting it up on your DS once you get the card and everything, just look up instructions for it on youtube. :3
