Digital Art / Drawings / Fantasy

Finished this up as a winding-down exercise after some other stuff this evening. Been a while since I did something like this, a simple B&W illustration. The market for 'em is shrinking something fierce.

Nonetheless, I'm still fond of the stark challenges presented by black and white, and plenty of masters serve to illustrate that I have a long way to go before I've plumbed its potential. So I'll probably keep drawing in "ink", just as a matter of personal satisfaction if nothing else.

It's nice to get paid for it too, though.

Drawn in Manga Studio EX, all digital, Intuos 9x12 tablet, about 2-3 hours drawing time.

Awesome dynamics. I have to agree that it doesn't look quite like the cyclops is focused on the girl. Just by moving that pupil dot a few pixels to the right can address that...but by no means is that extremely minor quibble adversely affecting the image. Your work is always so sharp and clean, and this is no exception.
