Here's a little something... the full and final illustration for Crafty Games new RPG core book Fantasy Craft. Had a ton o' fun with this one, been itching to show it off.

I'll likely post a couple more detail shots so you can see the fiddly bits better, but in the meantime you can tap Download to the left there and check it out at 1200... have fun finding all the stylized inkthinker marks (more fun than a signature, but there's one of those buried in there as well). I don't actually think you'll be able to find them all at this size, but that's okay, 'cause I forget exactly how many there are in the first place.



The assistance of my crucial Fates cohort Kevin Delucia was elementary with this one, 'cause he totally set up the lighting scheme and the textures. I just went in and twiddled around with a brush to fill in the details, and hoo boy... I went a bit overboard with detail. 'Cause I crazy like that. You can compare it with the original pencil drawing here, and if you're just tuning in there's already a few detail shots scattered around the Gallery.

So it took a good while, but I had a lot of fun with it, and I'm continuing to do so... just wait until I get to start showing off the interior work.

Switched it out with one that's had a slight Curves tweak to kick up the brightness a little. Also pumped the fullview size to 1024, but you can still find the 1200 version under the Download button.
