Just doodling around tonight. I'm about to clean out my gallery in a few days, cutting it down possibly by half or more. I really want to clean out some of the old stuff...

At any rate, I really liked this design I did a couple years ago [link] which was part of my first dump of illustrations when I joined DA. And while I dig the design, I can't say the illustration really stands up to my personal standards on a couple levels. So you might also consider this a little comparison of skill/style between now and then.

I wouldn't call this a great illustration, but it could work as a single panel in a page, perhaps. Pencil on Bristol, 9x12, total time about 1 hour.

Dude, you never give yourself enough credit. O' course, I find myself doing the same. If you look up my blademaster rough, and my Night Elf, I didn't like them at all. But my good ol' budd told me they were awesome, so I posted 'em anyhoo.

Nomatter how much he likes my blademaster, though, I'm still redoing it.

Anyway, I still think it's great.
