Still frame from the HTF Studios project Joe is Japanese

This is one frame from a cut of the main story, something we haven't really shown much of yet. I think perhaps with the work I've shown, you guys might think that the show is all about fighting (and tits).

'Tis not so.

Joe is Japanese is about Joe, and being Joe. It's about belonging to a society, but on the outside looking in, even if you were born there. It's about striving to fit into your place in the world, whatever that might be, and I think that's something that more than a few of us can relate to.

It is, on occasion, about kicking ass. Also, boobies.



The line art for this frame was illustrated by yours truly, but all that awesome color which brings it to life is the work of HTF Studio mates

Who I've had the distinct pleasure of working with for a couple years now... they're both pretty damn good artists in their own right, and they're getting better faster than I am.
