MetroCon 05 - Lupin III stills

So now I guess the cat is out, the animation that's kept us busy for the last month was a short opening animated film for Tampa's biggest anime convention, Anime MetroCon. This year's big guest was Monkey Punch, creator of the classic manga (and eventually hit anime) Lupin III, who sadly had to cancel due to a family medical emergency.

Nonetheless, HTF assembled two minutes of kick-ass anime to open the convention ceremonies, much as Gainax created an anime opening for Daikon IV (and then went on to fame and fortune). The short basically involves Lupin & co. stealing Monkey Punch's guest pass so that they can sneak into the Con, and Zenigata works to stop them.

These are just a handful of my favorite moments from the project. They are shown in linear order, but given that there's a ton of stuff that I didn't include, don't expect to be able to follow the story from these screenshots.
