Mistborn - Dinner Party

One of several interior illustrations drawn for Terris: Wrought of Copper, the worldbook supplement to The Mistborn Adventure Game, out now from Crafty. This brings back some of the same characters seen in the core book, to act as examples in the adventure outlined within. The book itself is a breakdown on the Terris culture and its place in the Final Empire, and worth checking out not just for its game value but also as a resource that fills out the world of the Mistborn novels.

I was hatch-happy during this whole book. Internalizing my own response to the work I did on the core book (which I felt was too self-indulgent) I went a bit overboard on line detail for no better reason. After a while I roped it back in, and I learned some new tricks in the process, but everything I did on this book is a little indiscriminately hatchtastic.

I shared illustration duties on this book with Siddeeq Saafir and Tommy Arnold (that's Tommy on the cover), both mates of mine at Bento Box. They made this book look really nice inside.
