I got a new thumbnail book... I actually filled the old one up.

I left that very top one nearly untouched from the scan. I think it's interesting that this new thumb book has very warm-toned paper as opposed to the other one, which scanned almost blue it was so cool. This newer one I got is supposed to be very high-quality, "Moleskine" is the brand name...

At any rate, I added the highlights to her hair and arm, and that's about it. All the other thumbs here came from this book or the last pages of the previous one, or from doodles scraped together from here and there.

Moleskin....funky. I like that warm toned paper. It adds so much personality. Looks very nice with what you were doing. Very nice.

I like that balcony or broken bridge on the left side. With the character on it. It'd make a neat finished picture. And I really really like the very bottom right picture. the armor design with the kinda grill of the helmet, cool design.
And the finally, I love the village/city built around the waterfall there. Very cool. Such an intriguing idea. Building around a powerful force of nature.
I ask alot of people here on deviantart this but, have you ever read Dinotopia by James Gurney. You'll have to check it out some time. Some of the most gorgeous paintings in that book. And anyways if you haven't read it, in the book their is a city called Waterfall city. Check it out: [link] The man is incredible...

Moleskine, yeah... some sort of Italian company or something.

Yep, I'm familiar with the first two Dinotopia books, and I've skimmed the final volume. I like their sort of "journal" aspect.

Yeah the journal style is very fitting. It makes it seem as though he's just documenting his travels as he goes along.

as i continue with my screenplay, i am moving closer and closer to the idea that my film should be created as an anamted peice. your work has showed me its possible..and maybe even better...

Really nice stuff, Ink. I really enjoy that female duellist character you've got going. She's very cool.
